What's up my fellow actor! Welcome to The Acting Career Center. 

If you used to follow my old YouTube channel "Small Market Actor", first of all, thank you. Second of all, I apologize for not making any videos in a while. But one of the reasons I’ve been on a hiatus is that my acting career has been super busy since I moved to Atlanta.

It also became pretty obvious that the name "Small Market Actor" no longer made sense because I don't live in a small market anymore. I moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Atlanta, Georgia in 2016 and Atlanta happens to be one of the biggest movie and television production cities in the world. 

So now we have a new name! What used to be Small Market Actor is now Acting Career Center. I think this new name is a better description of what I originally intended this channel to be.

My goal from the beginning was to help educate people who are new to the acting industry and those people who are trying to make this their career. I’ve been a working actor since 2009 and in that time I’ve gained so much knowledge, so much experience that I want to share with you to hopefully lead you in the right direction and limit your mistakes - so that you can move forward on this path of becoming a working professional actor.

Because I know it can feel frustrating at times. It can feel impossible at times.

But I’m here to tell you if I can do it. If this former software developer can do it; a guy who didn’t know anything about acting before he got started, who never studied acting in high school or college, who didn’t take his first acting class until he was 26. If someone like me can do it, then I have no doubt in my mind that you can do it too.

As long as you’re willing to put in the work, you’re willing to study and learn, not just the craft of acting but also the business of the industry, and you’re willing to be a professional, in every sense of the word, if you’re willing to do those three things, then you’ve absolutely got a shot at making this your career.

And my goal for this website, The Acting Career Center, is to help you do just that.
